Code of Conduct
The Localism Act 2011 introduced a new ethical framework with effect from 01 July 2012 and the Parish Council adopted the NALC template Code of Conduct 2012. An electronic copy is available free of charge from the Parish Clerk
Annual Reviews
At the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, each year, the following topics are reviewed, which are listed along with some current information:
Accounts – The accounts for the year ending 31 March 2012 were approved.
Audits – The External Audit is conducted by Littlejohn LLP on behalf of the Audit Commission. The Internal Audit is appointed by the Parish Council.
Salaries – The Parish Clerk is the only employee of the Parish Council and her salary is subject to HMRC regulations.
Training – The Parish Council review training needs regularly and has an adopted Statement of Intent F&TLCPCTrainingStatementofIntent.
Insurance – The Parish Council is insured using the Aon/Allianz Local Councils Insurance Scheme.
Assets – An Asset Register is prepared based on a model provided by the Yorkshire Local Councils Association (YLCA) AssetRegisterF&TLCPC

Freedom Of Information (FOI) – The Parish Clerk is currently updating the Information Available List using a model provided by the ICO. FOIAug11
Quality Parish Council Scheme – is currently under review by the National Association of Local Councils.
Parish News – There are four editions per year – January, April, July and October.
Banking – The Parish Council has a National Savings Account and a Business Current Account with HSBC.
